Dead Until Dark : Book Review

My Opinion : Well, it's official, I have found a new vampire series to read! After having read the Twilight Saga and the Vampire Academy series, I didn't think I'd find another series that I'd enjoy as much. But I did!


Charlaine Harris' writing was fast-paced, funny, sometimes dark, and a piece of art. I enjoyed the quickened pace and the sometimes dramatic scenes between Bill and Sookie.


Bill was a great character. He didn't have much of a personality, but I still liked him. Sookie was the one with the funny and  nice personality that a great series needs. 


I recommend this funny as well as dark vampire series, which was also adapted into a TV series called True Blood.


I cannot wait to get my hands on the second book in the series,

My Opinion : I have to say it's been five days since I read the book, but I needed to review it. So I've been brewing it up in my mind to be ready to give a good review of it. Let'S begin *dramatic music*...

Frost's writing is like when you go to a gourmet restaurant and the meat melts on your tongue. It's low, as well as fast. The details are well added and the story melts. 

Cat, as always, was badass. Like, really badass. I love her character. Then there's my crush; Bones! Mmmh.... after Chapter 32, I had a bigger crush on him :D .

Let's talk about famous Chapter 32. I'll just say one word to describe it; DIRTY! So, not a bed story for little seven years old. 

This series is definitely worth reading.


I really cannot wait to read the next book in the book.

My Opinion: Amazuperific (mix of amazing-super-terrific)!! I thought the book was great, but since I'd read Clockwork Angel, I thought it was a bit the same. I found the writing rather enjoyable; slow, detailed, but still great!

Jace was a lot like Will Herondale (character in Clockwork Angel, which I recommend to everyone!) I liked Clary a lot! She was fun.

I absolutely cannot wait to read the sequel! Cassandra Clare is a great author; her writing is so amazing!

My Opinion: I just finished the book about 2 minutes ago, so my head is still pounding from the awesomeness of the book!


This thrilling finale of one of my favorite series, The Hunger Games, had me gripping the edge of my chair/bed/couch every time I read. It was filled with pure action and violence. 


Katniss matured so much since the first book of the series; emotionally and physically. Primrose too. Peeta was only a bread-boy, but he evolved so much! I AM TEAM PEETA ! I <3 PEETA!

Harry Potter : Series Review

Summary : Harry Potter is a wizard. He goes to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Along with his two best friend - Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger - he faces many times the darkest wizard ever alive; Lord Voldemort. He finally confronts him... then dies and comes back to kill Lord Voldemort.

My Opinion: This series by Joanne Kathleen Rowling, also known as J. K. Rowling, is amazing.


It transports the reader to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, in Britain, and in a universe of magic and wizards. This book is what we call a 'chef-d'oeuvre'.


The first book was introducing us to the magical world, which was amazingly done.


The second book was as amazing as the first one. Through Harry'S classes, to the mystery; it was great.

Wolfsbane : Book Review

My Opinion : As much as I loved Nightshade, the first book in this series, I thought Wolfsbane was too slow for me. No big twists, nor any surprises. 


I don't think it needs much of a review, but I'll just add one more thing; let's hope the next one's fun.

My Opinion : It's been about a month since I've read this book, but it's been calling to me; Review me... please... review me... So you understand why I had to. Some people say this book was slow. But it wasn't. It just had many details in every scene, making it easier for the reader to understand the book.

So as I mentioned earlier in my review, it's been a month since I've read it, and the details are a little blurry. But I still remember enough to make a decent review.

Tessa Gray was actually a bit whiny at first, and so I began to dislike her. But then she stopped whining, and I actually began liking loving the book. And she met Will Herondale, mysterious Will. *sigh* I can't believe the author didn't let them get together!!! I want more of them!

Then there's safe Jem.  actually thought Jem was weird. Don't ask me why, I just think so.

The second book is due to publish on December 6th in 2011! I can't wait!!!!!!!!! Since I enjoed this book, another series from Cassandra Clare is in my to-read list.

Halfway to the Grave : Book Review

But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. Now Cat will have to choose a side . . . and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat.

My Opinion : Bones... Bones... I could write this name all day :D.

This book got me hooked after 3 pages! The writing and the funny twists are incredible.

Catherine (Cat) Crawfield, the main character, was so funny, I loved her after a few pages. I loved Bones as soon as he was mentioned in the book. How he talks makes me melt :D I need more of Cat & Bones now!

This book got me wanting more right away. Anybody will enjoy this!

Wither : Book Review

My Opinion : This book was absolutely incredible! I have to say that I didn't think it would be as dark and creepy as it was, but I was actually happy about that.


Rhine would be the main character. She has two different eyes; a brown and another blue eye, which is what saved her from getting killed. The almost non-exiting romance between her and Gabriel made me want to throw the book out of my window! I want more of Rhine & Gabriel!


Anybody who like dystopian novels/series should read this!

My Opinion : Veronica Roth takes us, readers, in the future Chicago where when you are 16 years old, you need to choose one of the five factions; Candor (the honest), Abnegation (the selfless), Dauntless (the brave), Amity (the peaceful) and Erudite(the intelligent). Somehow, I tended to be an Erudite or a Dauntless.


The beginning was too slow for me. I actually almost gave up reading it since it was too slow, but when I was about to give up; BANG! I then loved the book.


I can't wait for the awaited sequel called 'Insurgent'!


I would recommend this to anybody who likes fiction books. It's a must read.
