Spirit Bound : Book Review

Summary : After a long and heartbreaking journey to Dimitri’s birthplace in Siberia, Rose Hathaway has finally returned to St. Vladimir’s—and to her best friend, Lissa Dragomir. It's graduation, and the girls can’t wait for their real lives outside of the Academy’s cold iron gates to finally begin. But even with the intrigue and excitement of court life looming, Rose’s heart still aches for Dimitri. He's out there, somewhere.

She failed to kill him when she had the chance, and now her worst fears are about to come true. Dimitri has tasted her blood, and she knows in her heart that he is hunting her. And if Rose won't join him, he won't rest until he's silenced her...forever.

But Rose can't forget what she learned on her journey—whispers of a magic too impossible and terrifying to comprehend. A magic inextricably tied to Lissa that could hold the answer to all of Rose's prayers, but not without devastating consequences. Now Rose will have to decide what—and who—matters most to her. In the end, is true love really worth the price?

Fall in love with Rose and Dimitri all over again in Spirit Bound, the eagerly awaited fifth novel in Richelle Mead's enthralling Vampire Academy series.

-GOODREADS

My Opinion : This book was great. The plot had great twist, thus, it made me realize Richelle Mead is a brilliant author. I love how she writes incredible stories. I have loved the Vampire Academy series so far and have great expectations for the sixth, and last, book in the series.

Characters : My favorite character would be Dimitri Belikov. He was sweet and caring at times, then scary at others.

Then, it would be badass Rose Hathaway. I loved her a lot. She was a badass but could care for people. She loved Dimitri deeply.

Adrian was so nice and caring I was so surprised he would be that way! I guess Richelle Mead always surprises me.

Abe was quite nice and funny. But I haven't got anything else to say except that I was't surprised that he was Rose's father.

Vasilia (Lissa) Dragomir was, like always, charming and nice. I liked her a lot.

Nightshade : Book Review

Summary :
Calla Tor has always known her destiny: After graduating from the Mountain School, she'll be the mate of alpha wolf Ren Laroche and fight with him, side by side, ruling their pack and guarding sacred sites for the Keepers.
But when she violates her masters' laws by saving a beautiful human boy out for a hike, Calla begins to question her fate, her existence, and the very essence of the world she has known. By following her heart, she might lose everything— including her own life. Is forbidden love worth the ultimate sacrifice?

-GOODREADS

My Opinion : Nightshade is a great book by Andrea Cremer. At first I had bad expectations about this book. I thought it would only be about werewolves; which I totally hate! But as I began to read it, I fell in love with it. I can't wait to read the sequel.

Characters : Renier, or Ren, would be my favorite character of all. His love for Calla is just perfect and I love the way he talks and is nervous around Calla and not around other girls. I hope he is going to end up with Calla.

Shay would be my second favorite character. I loved his spirit, though I think he was too nice to Calla.

Then there is Calla, warrior and Guardian Calla, alpha female and kind of stupid in my opinion. I mean, she likes Shay and Ren, but she can't choose until the end of the book and even then she didn't look convinced.

Ansel is quite nice. I love how he is goofy for Bryn. And I love of his relationship with his sister is tight.

Bryn is like Ansel. I like her.

The other charcters are okay and nice except for Lumine; I hate her!

5/5 stars.

Hush, Hush: Book Review

Summary : Nora meets a transfer student called Patch. At first, she just hates his arrogance. Then, Elliot comes around. Nora finds out he is a suspect for a murder. There are a lot of weird events around her... Is it Elliot? Or badass Patch?

-CATHEEBOOKS

My Opinion : Hush, Hush was a great book by Becca Fitzpatrick. I enjoyed reading it so much. I couldn't get it out of my head!

Characters : My favorite character would definitely be Patch! I loved his attitude. At first, when I learned about him maybe wanting to kill Nora, I was sure he really did wanted to. When I found out he didn't, I was struck!

Then, Vee would come in second place. She is just bright! But a bit stupid, I have to admit.

Nora was quite nice. I bit too dumb at times, but still nice. She was well thought.

Elliot was great! I believed for a while he was a bad dangerous murderer. But he wasn't.

Jules was nice. That's all. Well... it was of course a surprise to find out he was bad.

The other characters weren't so bad, but they don't need any mention.

5/5 stars

-GOODREADS

My Opinion : This book from Sophie Jordan was just amazing. I couldn't get it out of my mind. It moved me. But the ending tore my heart apart.

Characters : My favorite character of all would be Will. Charming, nice Will. He was perfect for Jacinda. I couldn't wait for him to know about Jacinda's secret.

Then, there would be Jacinda. Draki Jacinda. I loved that she needed to decide big things.

Cassian was quite nice. I don't know if he was lying about him loving Jacinda and that he wouldn't let them clip he wings.

Tamra was jealous of Jacinda which was what the book needed.

All the other characters were okay... I guess. I didn't hate any character.

4/5 stars.

Blood Promise : Book Review

Summary : The recent attack on St. Vladimir's Academy devastated the entire Moroi world. Many are dead. And, for the few victims carried off by Strigoi, their fates are even worse. A rare tattoo now adorns Rose's neck, a mark that says she's killed far too many Strigoi to count. But only one victim matters . . . Dimitri Belikov. Rose must now choose one of two very different paths: honoring her life's vow to protect Lissa—her best friend and the last surviving Dragomir princess—or, dropping out of the Academy to strike out on her own and hunt down the man she loves. She'll have to go to the ends of the earth to find Dimitri and keep the promise he begged her to make. But the question is, when the time comes, will he want to be saved?

-GOODREADS

My Opinion : This book is clearly going in my Top 10. It was awesome and great! I loved how I felt like I was the character, Rose Hathaway, and that was so incredible. I could feel her pain for the loss of her Dimitri and her adrenaline.

Characters : My favorite character would be Dimitri Belikov. He was sweet and caring at times, then scary at others.

Then, it would be badass Rose Hathaway. I loved her a lot. She was a badass but could care for people. She loved Dimitri deeply.

Viktoria Belikov was nice and I loved what she brought in the story.

Abe was quite nice and funny. But I haven't got anything else to say except that I was't surprised that he was Rose's father.

Vasilia (Lissa) Dragomir was, like always, charming and nice. I liked her a lot.

The other characters were all okay except for Yeva. I don't know why but I didn't like her.

4/5 stars.

Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy : Book Review

Summary : Cammie Morgan is back, and it's clear that her life hasn't calmed down since the events of I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have to Kill You. At first, giddy anticipation is in the air. Gallagher Academy, Cammie's elite spy school, is hosting a visit from the Ethan Frome Academy, a covert training center for boys. Soon after the boys' arrival, though, everything goes dangerously awry when a series of security breaches are discovered at the academy. Worse yet, teenage agent-in-training Cammie is being blamed for the penetration. With the school's top-secret status at risk, the Gallagher Girls have to work quickly to save their beloved school. Girl sleuths with nice asides on youthful crushes.

-GOODREADS

My Opinion : Cross My Heart And Hope To Spy by Ally Carter was incredibly good. This is the second book in the serie called Gallagher Girls. It is a great mix of romance and spies and school. It is on the life of Cameron Morgan, a spy and daughter of her school's headmistress.

Characters : Cameron (Cammie/Chameleon) Morgan is by far my favorite character of the book. Of course, I like the other characters but she is my favorite of all.

Liz is my second favorite character because she can be so much like me. She is kind of nerdy, but still cool at times.

Zach is really nice. He is a mysterious, teasing boy whom every girl would like to have as a boyfriend, including me.

I think all the other characters are okay, but don't need and explanation why I like them or not.

4/5 stars

Wuthering Heights : Book Review

Summary : It's the story of Heathcliff, an orphan who falls in love with a girl above his class, loses her, and devotes the rest of his life to wreaking revenge on her family.

- GOODREADS

My Opinion : I just loved this romance novel from Emily Brontë. It was just incredible and great. I knew it would be hard to read but I just loved it. This is my favorite book because of its romantic, yet complicated, plot. It changed my view on love and class.

Characters:My favorite character of all would be: Cathy Linton (soon-to-be-Earnshaw) married to Linton Heathcliff, then to Hareton Earnshaw. Daughter of Edgar Linton and Catherine Earnshaw. She was just so nice, caring and lovely, yet, she loved adventures.

I loved Heathcliff from the middle to the end of the novel. Before turning thirteen, he was just to... sweet. He gained character afterwards which made me like him more.

Hareton Earnshaw was quite good. He resembled Heathcliff a lot, but was still nicer, like Linton Heathcliff.

Linton Heathcliff was perfect. He changed a lot. He was a bit like Heathcliff, even though he denied it, but he was still nicer.

Ellen (Nelly) Dean was quite nice. She affectionate(d) Cathy Linton almost as if she was her child. Of course, Mrs. Dean had acted quite a bit like a mother to Cathy.

Hindley Earnshaw wasn't mentioned a lot but I guess he was okay for bringing, as a father, to the novel Hareton Earnshaw.

I didn't really like Edgar Linton. He was okay and he gave the plot something big, but he was far from my favorite.

Isabella Linton was my least favorite character. I didn't like her from the first mention of her name till the last.
